A local companion for your dental visit
In short: if you'd rather not go alone, a local companion can meet you and go with you to the clinic. This is the one part of our service you pay for. The fee is agreed with you in writing before the visit.
What the companion helps with
- Getting to the clinic, including the taxi or Grab ride if you like.
- Reception and registration.
- Talking with the staff in Vietnamese and English.
- Practical questions, such as payment, receipts for your insurer and how long it will take.
- Understanding appointments and paperwork.
- Making a follow-up appointment.
Who it is for
It helps most if this is your first time at a dentist in Vietnam, if the clinic staff speak little English, if you are nervous, or if you are arranging care for a child or an older family member.
A companion is not a medical interpreter. For detailed medical explanations, consent to a complex treatment or surgery, choose a dentist who explains it to you in English, or ask the clinic for a professional medical interpreter. We help you find out whether that's available.
How to book a companion
Mention it when you ask us to arrange your appointment. We confirm the fee and the meeting point in writing before the visit. You only pay for the companion if you agreed to it in advance.
